Launch of an Industry’s First-Ever National Public Relations Campaign

 

The International, Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association (IBTTA) is a global member-based organization comprised of major transportation authorities and businesses implementing cutting-edge solutions to address critical infrastructure challenges in 21 countries across six continents.

The industry no longer wanted to sit on the sidelines of the transportation and infrastructure development conversations happening in the country. They wanted to become a thought leader in the space and to have a seat at the table.

ENGAGEMENT


LUNA+EISENLA was engaged to take the industry from the sidelines and establish its important voice in helping to solve our nation’s transportation infrastructure challenges.

LUNA+EISENLA conceptualized, constructed, launched, and managed the Moving America Forward campaign, the industry’s ongoing decade-long public relations effort to educate policymakers, the media, and the public on the benefits of user-financed transportation.

 

MEASURE OF SUCCESS


For the first-time in the tolling industry’s history, this public relations effort has resulted in an increase in the utilization and support of toll-financed infrastructure by securing endorsements by Presidents of the United States from both political parties, a bipartisan group of Governors, Mayors, and other local leaders in every region in the country and sourced as a reliable funding tool by hundreds of national and regional media.
